Another theme with a darker background is Winter. This theme allows you to put a single color (instead of the default purple) as the background. You can put a dark color as the background of your main Desktop or Taskbar.
If you want to make the Windows Explorer sidebar dark and not the main background, there’s an addon called “ExclusiveSideBarDark.” It’s a paid-for add-on, but I assure you that it’s a better alternative to WindowBlinds (which I thought would allow the same thing.)
