Charming graphics and classic story telling give Desdemona a new twist and a fresh feel to the world of fairy tales. Orphaned and abandoned in the sewers of some unnamed city, Desdemona is found by a wolf and brought to the royal castle where she is imprisoned for her crime. When the wicked queen of the kingdom dies and her daughter inherits the throne, and the kingdom goes to war, Desdemona must escape the castle and find her way home to the fairy forest. It is there, in the fairy forest, that she meets Wally, and becomes a part of his new life.

War of the Ghosts is the only thing you need to know before playing this game. It’s an unique idea of having a RPG game where you can actually play as the ghosts! Not only is this a game of laughs but it also has a nice story to tell you.
In War of the Ghosts, you enter the game as a ghost, but do not worry. You’re not completely dead. Everything is in the spirit of the game and will come to life as you progress through the game and show the ghosts your presence.
The story of this game is simple, although it’s not easy to grasp. You are the ghost of a young man who was killed in a car accident. You return to the car where you died as a ghost in order to finish a video that you were supposed to make with your family. Everything is fine until you bump into a ghost who claims that he was there for a much different reason.
As you play, you get the ability to perform with your ghostly body by unleashing various abilities such as floating, levitation, flying, invisibility and the ability to consume enemies to level up your own ghostly abilities. You will also be able to control your ghostly form to complete some mini games in order to unlock new areas and not only that, you’ll be able to control what ghosts does next too.
All of your actions can be controlled through the touch screen. So try to not lean

I have played this game for about 3 days, and I am very pleased with it. The character, Wally, is an interesting young man who seems to have a really full life at times, then gets killed off for no apparent reason, causing a cascading effect which I feel strongly affects the story. Overall, I feel that this is a game which is going to be published by a bigger company (Xenon Vision?) and will be released at a later date (this was found out about a week after the initial release).
I think that the developer should have taken his time, released the game at a later date, and finished the game properly. I did not understand much of the story at times. I was told that there are no words in this language (Italian?). I don’t mind, however, since I am a world traveler and I like to think in pictures and not in words. I enjoyed it though, and I would play the game again. I give the game 3.5 stars out of 5.
Good game, though I have a few issues with it. 1.) The first 3 hours of gameplay (time in between your first and second encounters with magic), is spent in an inventory based game. You are given 40 items to buy from various people, in order to get to your next destination. I think it would be more effective to have a map of sorts, which I assume can be opened at the touch of a button. Then you could find the next area (instead of trying to gather everything in one area), and then the next and so on. I have encountered my share of strange games, where I have been in the market, but it has been several hours since I have bought anything (usually, there isn’t anything in the market for more than 30 minutes). 2.) The game’s sound effects are just a little too loud. I have been listening to my music as I play, and when the sound effects occur (usually during fights), it is almost as if they are broadcast in my ear. I have tried to turn it down, but it doesn’t make a difference. 3.) The item descriptions are a little wonky. For example, during the first 10 hours of gameplay, I bought 12 items and heard 4 different descriptions for each of them. While playing the second 10 hours of the game, I bought 20 more items and only heard 1 description for them. However, since each of the descriptions I heard were only 4 words long (for items, 4 words
Dreams, or how one thing can lead to another
Today we found ourselves chatting a bit on trains and trains of thought. Of all his ideas, JB almost always goes back and forth between Dreaming about Hermione, Dreaming about Charlotte, and Dreaming about…well, other things. Most of the time he does this, I don’t understand; when he has a dream about Hermione and with so much realism it’s all I want to be thinking about when I’m with him, but each afternoon he now seems to just want to talk about Charlotte. Oh, I understand that.
Jonathan woke early early and went upstairs to get ready for his morning at King’s, which meant for him taking a look at and rethinking his costume. He’d seen this morning the Prince’s trousseau the other night in a glint of firelight on ice and discovered that Jonathan felt sorry for poor Farkas when he had seen in dirty brown and nicked it while the linen was fine and cultured in a royal bed. (That was, of course, before Farkas’s world ended in hundred perils.) Hereafter, the Prince’s nightshirts and tunics would have to be spartan, Jonathan decided. “That’s for me.” He pulled on his shirt and cupped his eyes to get a line of light off them, thinking. “Yes. Eyes to the light of the world. Drink deep of beholding and find out what you’re made of. Set me on fire, will you?” He laughed softly to himself and slipped his hand through his long dark hair, shaking it, first to its peak and then back down, letting it curl against the pillow. It fell down his back, from there up and in again, always weaving in strands with the air. It was heavy and so very, very soft.
