A “welcoming” iOS game, RADtv, is about to be released on the App Store! “The game is designed to be funny and simple. It has been rated T for Teen (age 16 and up).” This life simulation game lets you use your iPhone like never before. All you need to do is find the right party and party it up. Your character (simulated) needs to find love and money to enjoy the party. RADtv is just a normal app with microtransactions. Space Hats is a small indie game studio based in Prague, Czech Republic.
Spacehats has developed a mix of the most exciting and the most complex
game engines in the business:
There are 7 different combat skills in game, which are divided into Melee, Ranged, and Elemental Skills. Each skill is activated by pressing the assigned hotkey.
The Melee Skills are activated by pressing “LMB” (Left Mouse Button), Ranged Skills are activated by pressing “RMB” (Right Mouse Button), and Elemental Skills are activated by pressing “F” (Face Button). There is a melee-only Skill which is available in every combat phase, there is also a Ranged-only Skill, and there are 3 Elemental Skills, each of them with its own set of 3 associated Elemental Arrows.
The in-game environment is a randomly-generated 3d landscape, with game-worlds to explore.
Some environments have a battle-area, where the enemies are spawn, and there is a boss at the end of each battle-area.
The game is visually inspired by video game classics, like Dwarf Fortress, Diablo, System Shock, and Bioshock.
The game is originally inspired by Games developed by my peers at the University, including “White Gauntlet” and “Desert of War”. White Gauntlet is a 2D tank-shooter, while Desert of War is a mock-turn-based strategy simulator with unit units. I chose to move away from pure strategy simulations, and instead took the path of action and fighting simulator.

Prison Architect – Second Chances is a new simulation-strategy game developed by Introversion and is the third title in the Prison Architect series. Intrusion’s main addition is an overhaul to the policies system that is based on the second Edition ruleset, and is supposed to have more options for balancing or counterbalancing rules (such as the new Incarceration policy). The game has been released for the PC on February 27th 2017 and is also coming to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in summer of 2017.
Gameplay OverviewPrison Architect – Second Chances is similar to its predecessor Prison Architect, in that players are able to control a jail or prison. Players are able to choose to build their own prison, choosing and designing everything from the building type, style and their beds. The primary building type is the Cell Block which can range from the common dormitory style, to a maximum security facility which has more specific cells, holding various inmates. Other common facilities include the workshop which can contain workshops and businesses which the player can run, the classrooms, the gym, the school, the radio room, a library, a medical center and a games room. Players will have the ability to choose a location and hire an architect to design their prison.
The major feature of the game is the policies which are used to control the population in the prison. Prison Architect uses a point-based system that is similar to that used in board games. The player starts with five points and any decisions made will cost some number of points to the player. Prison Architect – Second Chances uses this system to tweak, create and change policies. The policies are designed to work in conjunction with the game’s simulation, which allows the player to use information on the inmates’ needs and stats. This includes everything from their reoffending potential, medical needs, behavior, demographic information, education level, etc.
Players are able to choose to hire various staff members, including a warden, which have their own specialities and abilities. The warden has access to a general screen and an individual screen for each inmate, which allows the player to view and manage their inmate’s needs. Staff members can also use tools to improve the facilities, from remodeling and even repairing holes in the walls.
The inmates themselves are subject to policies and can even be given more work if they are seen as being in need. All inmates are put into one of six categories: suspected, low, medium, high, dangerous and maximum security.
meets Codename: Dismax in new CGI movie
The story of a naive band of robot-loving misfits who are trained to be evil and fight each other in a mash-up of traditional WWII air games and the madcap world of modern-day anime, Dreamworks’ highly-anticipated CGI-animated action-comedy, “Codename: Dismax”, following the exploits of the group of elite misfits at the Academy of Doom, and their impossibly hot instructor, Agent Palomar. Dreamworks’ “Codename: Dismax” is out in U.S. theaters on April 4th, 2012.
In “Codename: Dismax”, paladin leader Paladin-san (voiced by Mandy Moore) and her crew — the Joylancers (voiced by Kristen Bell, Anna Kendrick and Amanda Seyfried) — enlist new fighter trainees, including Samurai (voiced by Anne Hathaway), who finds herself in the Academy of Doom and struggling against her clashing desires for evil and justice. During their training, Samurai is befriended by prisoner Dismax (voiced by John Leguizamo), a member of the deadly Dis-aster family, who agrees to aid her escape from the Academy in exchange for her rehabilitation. A seemingly one-sided arrangement leads to a series of adventures and a blossoming friendship as the Joylancers and their new trainees unite as part of an elite team of agents of hero destruction known as the Ultimate Fighting League, and finally face off against the evil forces of the Disasters in a series of high-octane aerial-fistball contests.
In addition to the film, supervising director Steve Hickner (the original concept creator for one of the earliest animated power fighters in Warner Bros.’ “Harlem Globetrotters”) and hit songwriter Andrew Lloyd Webber will create a musical score for the film. The film has been a hit with the critics, with a 92% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes and currently holds the #1 spot at the box office for advanced tickets sales.
“Codename: Dismax” has just been released in Japan. It made its premiere at the 12th Tokyo International Film Festival. The film premiered in 11 theatres in Japan and has been licensed for DVD release in Japan by Warner Home Entertainment.

The Myst Generation
One of the most popular roleplaying games of all time, Myst spawned three sequels and several expansion packs. Founded by adventure games pioneer Ralph H. Baer, the first game was released in September 1999 and is considered by many to be the best game ever made. The Myst Generation earned more than $100 million worldwide, and over five million copies sold. It is also the only game in the gaming industry with a video game adaptation released in theatres, starring Marlon Brando. It was the first of Baer’s games to be released on a CD-ROM and the first to feature a 3D engine.
